Promoting Community Biogas Systems, Celebrating the Zero Waste Month

We joined the Zero Waste Month celebration this January 2024 by promoting the adoption of anaerobic digesters in urban centers. Anaerobic digesters (AD) or biogas are a climate-friendly technology that can support cities and communities in managing their organic waste more efficiently while providing a clean source of energy.

The CREST microhydro agenda

The Center for Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technology (CREST) is hard at work on its microhydro agenda. It is partnering with Galing Pook awardee, the LGU of San Luis, Aurora, and other local governments on trials to bring down the capital expenses for microhydro installations below the capex of mini- and mega-hydroelectric projects.
